Preparing for Birth - Saturday class: Private Insurance Registration

Description: Diapers? Check. Crib? Check. Car seat? Check. Practice bringing baby from belly to home? Let our compassionate and experienced childbirth educators help you check that important task off your Baby To-Do list! Knowing what to expect really does help decrease pain in labor. This valuable one-day class provides the latest information on labor, delivery options, labor support, comfort measures, and relaxation techniques. The class combines lecture, videos, active participation and group discussion to give new parents confidence during this exciting time in their lives. A tour of PHSJ Birth Center is included at the end of the day. Registration reserves a spot for mother-to-be and her birth support partner. Class is open to any community member regardless of where they are delivering. Participants are encouraged to also attend the Infant Care & Feeding class offered at the end of the month.
