PeaceHealth employees care deeply for our patients and our communities. That’s why when you join us you’ll be known as a “caregiver” even if you’re in a nonclinical role.

This includes eight free therapy sessions a year through our employee assistance program. PeaceHealth chaplains also are available for spiritual and emotional support, and our behavioral health teams offer counseling services.

  • Priority scheduling and care navigation: To make it easier to get care at PeaceHealth and our partners at ZoomCare, take advantage of our dedicated caregiver navigation line and priority appointment scheduling.

Career advancement and education
  • Tuition reimbursement and pre-funded tuition: Request reimbursement for tuition on qualifying classes and coursework, or choose an approved school and program of study for PeaceHealth to cover the cost up front.
  • Employer-paid dues and licensing expenses: PeaceHealth pays for continuing medical education, professional dues/fees, hospital staff fees, professional license renewal, DEA license and board recertification fees.
  • Training and mentoring: Leaders and caregivers alike can take workshops through PeaceHealth’s leadership institute, and access up to eight free coaching sessions per year to support achieving goals in more than 30 different specialty areas. Certain roles, including nurses, also benefit from mentoring and fellowship programs to grow their skills.

Financial health
  • Retirement plans: Our retirement advising, pre-tax and tax-advantaged savings plans are open to all caregivers (per diem, part-time and full-time). Qualified caregivers get employer matching.
  • Health and childcare spending accounts: Set aside pre-tax dollars to make your household budget go farther.
  • Emergency funds: When the unexpected happens, get help with crisis-related expenses through our caregiver support fund or emergency loan program.
