Biography
Katie Kennedy, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C, joined the PeaceHealth St. Joseph Cancer Center in 2023. She is an experienced nurse practitioner, providing high quality care and education to adult and older patients at every stage of the cancer continuum. “I love being able to educate my patients about their diagnoses and treatment plans. Listening to their questions and concerns helps me to better understand their values and priorities, establish trust and provide patient-centered care,” she says about her practice philosophy. Katie previously practiced in Florida for more than ten years in both clinic and hospital environments. She received her master’s degree as an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Away from the clinic, Katie enjoys time with her husband and sons, hiking, kayaking and trying new restaurants.
