Visiting hours

We recognize the therapeutic benefits a patient receives when visited by someone who cares for them. That’s why family and friends are welcome to visit patients through the course of their stay, as long as the patient’s condition permits.

Please check with the patient’s nurse for more information regarding visitation.

General information

Parking

For general parking and North Puget Cancer Center parking, follow the signs pointing to the Hospital Main Entrance. There is also parking available at the entrance to Pulmonary Rehabilitation and our Surgery & Orthopedics Center for patients and visitors going directly to those departments. Parking in front of the emergency department is to be reserved for emergency patients.

As with parking areas anywhere, please lock your vehicle and do not leave valuables in your car, especially at night.

Several ADA parking spaces are available in front of United General's main entrance. These spots accommodate both ADA vans and regular sized vehicles. Additionally, there is one ADA accessible parking space in front of the Emergency Room, Rehabilitation Services, Surgery & Orthopedics Center and North Puget Cancer Center.

Where to eat

The Coho Cafe at PeaceHealth United General Medical Center not only offers delicious lunches, but also serves great breakfasts as well. A wonderful salad bar, good tasting vegetarian options and meals from our deli/grill are available daily. As a community hospital, we have a responsibility to help people make healthy food choices.

PeaceHealth United General Medical Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital. Printed informational materials, outlining Your Rights as a Patient, are provided to every patient upon admission.

If you ever have questions about a procedure, your physician, medication, or anything about your stay at PeaceHealth United General Medical Center, please ask! We want you to be informed, comfortable, and clearly understand your care.
