Aaron Brinklow, DO, joined the PeaceHealth Medical Group Family Medicine clinic in Sedro-Woolley in September 2022. He comes to PeaceHealth from Community Health Centers of Snohomish in Arlington, Washington, where he had worked as a family doctor since 2018, providing primary care to patients of all ages with a wide variety of healthcare needs. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology (exercise science) from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, in 2011, then stayed at MSU to complete a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the College of Osteopathic Medicine at the Macomb campus in 2015. He completed a family medicine residency at East Tennessee State University, Quillen College of Medicine, in Kingsport, Tennessee, in 2018, where he earned the Outstanding Resident Award. Dr. Brinklow's medical interests include sports medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine, medication-assisted opiate use disorder treatment and preventative medicine. He describes his practice approach as this: "I believe primary care should be based on open communication between a patient and their provider. I like developing a relationship with my patients so that we can work together to achieve specific goals and work towards the highest quality of life possible." In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, fishing, skiing, weightlifting and spending time with his wife, Lindsey, and their dog, Smudge.
