Anna L. Snyder MD
,
Anna Snyder, MD, MA, practices at PeaceHealth Pediatrics in Bellingham. Her medical interests include adolescent medicine, gender care, sports medicine, reproductive health, well-child care and care for children with medical complexity. “I love partnering with families and youth closely, to develop strategies and skills for long-term health,” says Dr. Snyder about her approach to practice. “I have an amazing job—I am constantly both learning and teaching. My role is to share my knowledge and work with children, teens and families to find the best path to health for them,” she said. Anna completed her medical degree at the University of Washington in Seattle, where she also earned a master’s degree in bioethics. She trained at Seattle Children’s Hospital and her pediatric residency included a focus on adolescent medicine care. Before joining PeaceHealth, she practiced in rural and underserved clinics in Yakima and Seattle. Anna also served on the board of trustees for the Washington Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, performing advocacy work for that organization and continues her research in the field of bioethics. When she’s not working, Dr. Snyder spends as much time as possible outdoors, either hiking, running or backpacking. Her other favorite past times include reading, playing board games, snuggling her dog and spending time with family.
