Biography
Brigitta Mast Drolet, MD, joined the PeaceHealth Medical Group Women’s Health team of providers in August 2021 and enjoys practicing patient-centered and evidence-based medicine. Dr. Mast Drolet’s background includes service in Peace Corps in Paraguay in the health sector, followed by medical school at the University of Washington with a focus on underserved populations. She completed her OBGYN residency training at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where she developed an extensive skillset and enjoyment of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, contraceptive counseling, and a love of both low and high-risk obstetrics. She is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Mast Drolet is originally from Mount Vernon and is a true Northwest enthusiast. She enjoys spending her free time hiking, reading, gardening, baking and being active with her husband, their two sons and beloved dog.

I was very impressed she had reviewed my medical tecords did a thorough exam and was very attentive to my concerns
I had a bad episode after my injection where I felt faint, hot, sweaty, nauseous, and over all completely disassociated. Both the doctor and the other staff were kind, patient, and compassionate with me and didn't make me feel like a burden even though I was embarrassed about it. They also were helpful with my 6 year old who was at my appointment with me due to lack of child care that day which I appreciated more than words can say! I'm very thankful for who was on staff for me that day.
I told her I do better when I know what's going on, and to please narrate the procedure. She did pretty well, but I did have to repeat that, and then she did less so again at the end. Apparently that's not often asked/done?!
Provider was ok, listened to some things I said, but seemed a bit dismissive at times.
Dr. Mast Drolet is one of the best providers I've ever seen. She's kind, considerate, explains things clearly, and is very respectful. There is no other provider at PeaceHealth that I would've loved more than for her to deliver our son.
Appreciated that she read my chart to catch up on my health since visit a year ago and ask me about it. Appreciated her answering my questions. Appreciated her ordering tests I requested to be ordered. I was a little taken aback when she seemed rushed some time into the appointment as I still had a few more questions and when I asked her she explained the appt was just for 20 minutes. I didn't realize there was a time limitation of the appointment. And I saw she documented double the time we spent together which I assume she'll be billing me for. Really got a sense that healthcare is a business after this experience!

She went beyond my expectations, easy-going and professional; I was totally amazed when she started talking Spanish when she realized that I forgot how to say ?tero in English.
Dr. Mast Drolet has shown me the utmost care and attention during my pregnancy. She has excellent communication, thoroughly answers all my questions, and is wonderful at making me feel at ease in a sometimes stressful period of my life. I can't say enough good things about her.
