Biography
Dr. Carrasco is an experienced pediatrician who joined PeaceHealth 2024. She has a passion for providing compassionate, evidence-based medical care, treating the whole child including physical and mental health. Dr. Carrasco attended the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital in Seattle. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and previously practiced in Mount Vernon and Seattle. “I believe in providing evidence-based care taking into account individual needs,” said Dr. Carrasco about her practice philosophy. “I enjoy working with families to make join decisions about their children’s care, along with providing education and support to families in raising their children.” Dr. Carrasco was raised in New Mexico but fell in love with the Pacific Northwest while in medical school and enjoys gardening, hiking and bird watching.
