Corey B. Kahn DO

Corey Kahn, DO, has joined the Emergency Medicine department at Peace Harbor Medical Center. She comes to Florence from Samaritan Albany General Hospital, where she was a staff emergency physician. She also served as the medical director for the Linn County Jail, previously served as a hospice team physician in Southern Oregon and worked for 20 years at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. She earned her doctor of osteopathic medicine from Western University of Health Sciences and completed her emergency medical residency program at Albany (NY) Medical Center. “We all are looking for meaning in life, and for me that is having connections with other people, adding to the world in some important way,” Kahn said of how she became a doctor. “I’ve found this path to be extremely meaningful.” She called her current role and the opportunity to serve the coast’s underserved communities “a perfect situation.” In addition to traveling, Dr. Kahn paints in her free time and her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions.
