Biography
Psychologist Eli Lotz, PhD, joined the Pediatrics team in 2023. He is based at the University District clinic. He enjoys working with a broad spectrum of presenting challenges, with particular interest in working with adolescents on developing healthy habits and setting goals for the future. He has experience in healthy lifestyle interventions and addressing anxiety in children and adolescents. He earned his master’s degree and PhD in educational psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in child clinical psychology at The University of Washington/Child Study and Treatment Center. He says, “I strive to help each child or family reach their goals for health and wellbeing using a strengths-based, culturally aware and trauma-informed approach." Originally from Eugene, he says, “I’m happy to be back serving the community where I grew up.” He enjoys hiking, biking and camping with his wife and children.
