Eric Johnsen, PA, has joined staff at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend and will specialize in vascular surgery. He earned his master of clinical medicine science from Barry University. He’s completed clinical rotations in general surgery, trauma surgery and as a surgical oncology physician assistant student. Prior to earning his masters, Johnsen worked at PeaceHealth Sacred Medical Center at RiverBend and University District as a medical scribe. “My philosophy for care is a patient-centered approach that is strengthened by collaboration between all members of the care team. Working together with a common goal in mind will allow for the best outcomes that meet both the patient’s and provider’s hopes and expectations,” he said. He enjoys exploring Oregon and reading foreign literature.
