Eve M. Preus MD

Eve Preus, MD is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and a Diplomate/Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists (ACOG). Her medical interests include health equity, minimally invasive surgery, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, natural childbirth and high-risk pregnancies.

Also a skilled surgeon, Dr. Preus approaches her patient relationships with respect, communication and trust. She feels each patient deserves to be listened to, understood and involved. She works together with her patients to find the best plan of care because there is no “one size fits all.”

“I love all aspects of my profession,” she said. “I combine the gold standard in evidence based medical care with an honest, compassionate and straightforward communication,” she said of her philosophy of care.

“My aim is that a patient will walk out of the office with a clear understanding of their diagnosis and plan, feeling empowered in their health,” she said.

Dr. Preus graduated medical school from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, followed by residency in OB-GYN at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Before joining PeaceHealth, Dr. Preus practiced in Boise, Idaho and served as an OB-GYN consultant in New Zealand. She is also a diplomate of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. While in New Zealand, she worked with high needs populations and said she enjoys working with people of all backgrounds. Dr. Preus speaks conversational Spanish.

Dr. Preus is an avid outdoors person, having climbed all the volcanoes in Washington and many other mountains, including Denali in Alaska. She enjoys spending time with family, travel, gardening, cooking, and other outside activities like biking, skiing, climbing or surfing.
