Biography

Fang-yu Lee, MD, is a board-certified family physician who was drawn to medicine because of his love of science and his desire to help people.

Dr. Lee is a graduate of Carleton College in Minnesota and New York Medical College where he earned his Medical Degree. He completed his Internship and Residency at Providence St. Peter Family Medicine in Olympia, Washington.

“My approach to care is one of mutual respect and shared decision-making,” shares Dr. Lee. My focus is on science-based medicine while acknowledging individual differences and each patient’s unique situation.”

Born in Taiwan, Dr. Lee grew up mainly in Latin America, spending more than 10 years in Nicaragua, Paraguay and other Latin American countries before moving to the United States. He enjoys hiking, traveling, discovering new foods, and spending time with his family and cats.
