Biography
Jason Kent Ferrari, MD, joined the PeaceHealth Medical Group Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team in 2020. He previously worked at Abrazo Health in Phoenix, Ariz. Dr. Ferrari has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon since 2007 and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in both orthopedics and trauma surgery. Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Dr. Ferrari earned his medical degree from the University of Calgary. He then completed a residency in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, before starting a fellowship in upper extremity reconstruction in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He came to the United States in 2007 to complete fellowships in orthopedic sports medicine and arthroscopy at TRIA Orthopedic Center in Bloomington, Minn., and in lower extremity reconstruction at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Ferrari is also an experienced sports team physician, having worked with the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Minnesota Vikings. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery.
