Dr. Succar uses the principles of Functional and Preventive Medicine to address the underlying causes of disease, to assist patients in restoring their health and wellness. "My goal with my patients is to get them to stop as many of their medications as possible. Using the principles of Functional and Preventive Medicine, I work with my patients to identify and reverse the underlying cause of their symptoms and helping restore their optimal wellness. The treatment plan is personalized to the uniqueness of each individual, and their preferences." He has extensive research experience, having published works he conducted while at Harvard Medical School and the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He has also taught at Harvard University, winning multiple teaching awards. Dr. Succar has completed a Master’s of Science in Clinical Research during his residency, and utilizes his research expertise to identify the most up-to-date scientific literature, in order to provide the best evidence-based practice. He enjoys traveling, sports, and cooking.
