The PeaceHealth OB/GYN team welcomed Katie Armbruster, PA-C in 2023. She received her Master of Science in Medicine and Physician Assistant Studies from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was surgical first assist on gynecological surgeries at a major hospital on the Olympic Peninsula for three years before coming to Bellingham. She’s experienced assessing and treating a wide range of gynecologic conditions and assisting on laparoscopic and open surgery cases and in-office procedures. “I enjoy educating patients, so they understand their options and empowering them to make the best decision for themselves,” Katie said about how she approaches her practice. “I strive to enter each appointment with compassion, empathy and humor.” When not working, you can find Katie playing boardgames with friends, having fun with her dog and stewarding the health of several houseplants.
