We are pleased to welcome Katrina Murphy, PA-C, MPH, to the PeaceHealth Medical Group Internal Medicine team of providers. Katrina has a preventive and integrative approach to medicine, using lifestyle modifications to treat current medical concerns and prevent future medical problems. Originally from Northern California, Katrina comes to PeaceHealth from Touro University in Vallejo, California. Her research focused on evaluating counseling services offered for children, creating emergency preparedness programs in schools and assisting with Zika virus outreach and education. Her diverse clinical rotations and training in both physician assistant studies and public health allow her to treat patients as both individuals and members of the larger community. When she isn’t supporting patients, Katrina enjoys running, hiking, camping and finding culinary inspiration from cooking shows. She looks forward to further exploring the Bellingham area. She and her husband, a large animal veterinarian, have two cats and an energetic Australian shepherd that they adore.
