Kerin Konkler, NP-C, joined the Pediatric Surgery team at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in 2023. She earned her master of science in nursing, family nurse practitioner from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. She previously worked as a family nurse practitioner at The Corvallis Clinic. Kerin says her first child required surgery and an extended stay in the NICU at RiverBend. She is excited to bring her personal experience and clinical knowledge to the team that provided extraordinary care for her own family. She says, “my goal for patients and families is to empower them to be their own advocate – giving them control of their health – by providing comprehensive, empathetic care coupled with tailored education." Her hobbies include reading, hiking, camping, fly fishing, snowshoeing and geology.
