Biography

Dr. Kolodychuk was born and raised in Western Canada and received his medical degree from the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine. After a residency at the University of Saskatchewan in orthopedic surgery, he undertook two fellowships - one at the University of British Columbia, and one in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A board-certified physician, Dr. Kolodychuk's special interests include arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, total joint replacement surgery and fracture care. Dr. Kolodychuk offers a choice of two approaches to hip replacements, including the new anterior approach. In 2002, Dr. Kolodychuk relocated to Bellingham with his wife and four children. He and his family enjoy camping, golf and a variety of other sporting activities.
