Lynette Polinder, CNM, ARNP, joined the PeaceHealth Medical Group Obstetrics and Gynecology team of providers in November 2017. Prior to joining PeaceHealth Medical Group, Lynette worked as a certified nurse midwife on the childbirth unit at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph, Michigan. Early in her career, Lynette served as a registered nurse at a government primary healthcare clinic in northern Thailand, where she also helped organize mobile clinics in remote villages. Lynette feels her job as a nurse-midwife is to educate women about their choices based on evidence-based research so they can more confidently make decisions about their care. In her free time, Lynette enjoys playing the piano, racquetball, hiking, cooking and travel. She lives in Bellingham with her young son.
