Matthew Gust, MD, joined the Bariatric Surgery team at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in 2022. He earned his medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago and completed his general surgery residency at University of Illinois at Chicago. He also completed a bariatric surgery fellowship at Legacy Good Samaritan Weight Loss and Diabetes Institute in Portland, Ore. In his free time, he enjoys downhill skiing, cinema, travel and art appreciation.
