Meghann Mullen, PA-C, joined the OB/GYN team at PeaceHealth in 2022. She graduated with a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York, and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Before getting into the medical field, Meghann worked as a lab assistant in a family medicine practice and as a program coordinator for an anti-poverty community action organization. According to Meghann, this non-profit work instilled in her a mindset for equity and equality in whatever she does. Regarding her choice to pursue medicine, Meghann said, “I am passionate about helping patients through difficult situations and making their experience with medicine a positive one. Additionally, I am committed to serving the LGBT population and addressing the unique needs of patients within the OB/GYN specialty.” In her free time, Meghann teaches Jazzercise, “I’ve taught for more than 14 years and like being goofy and empowering people to love their bodies.” She also enjoys time with her partner and their golden retriever, Lucy, hiking, playing video games, reading comics and watching sci-fi movies.
