Michael Maidan, DO, joined PeaceHealth’s Family Medicine clinic in Burlington, WA, in 2023. His practice interests include mental health and trauma-informed care. Dr. Maidan’s research includes bipolar disorder and hepatic encephalopathy—a reversible syndrome in patients with liver disfunction. Dr. Maidan started his medical career as an EMT. He went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in biology from Western Washington University. Dr. Maidan completed his medical training at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, WA. His residency in family medicine was completed at East Peirce Family Medicine in Puyallup, WA. In discussing his practice philosophy, Dr. Maidan shared, “My goal as a physician is to help alleviate suffering in the lives of my patients and their families.” Outside of medicine, Dr. Maidan enjoys spending time with his wife and their two sons.
