Biography
Dr. Paul Benda, pediatrician, comes to us from South Lane Medical Group in Cottage Grove where he practiced general pediatrics since 1999. Paul was born in Vancouver, Washington and has lived in the Pacific Northwest all his life. Paul completed medical school at OHSU in Portland in 1996 and did his residency in pediatrics there as well, finishing in 1999. He is board certified in pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Benda sees patients from birth to 18 years of age, but will follow them until they are 21 years old when he and the patient mutually agree to that arrangement.

He was informative and attentive.
Provider was great and saw us on the spot even though there was a scheduling issue.
He explained how a circumcision works to to me extremely well in a way I could understand and made sure that I could understand and knew how to take care of my child during the healing process. He also explained everything he was doing during the visit when examining Vincent from start to finish.
We don't usually have a wait time but I scheduled online at 10am. It took provider 30 minutes to come into our room. I noticed hand written on our paperwork 10:20am. I don't know if that was an error or if the online appointment system was wrong but I did not want to experience that again so we scheduled prior to leaving. The 10 am slot did not seem to exist.

Dr. Paul C Benda is the best Dr. That I have gotten to work with. I recommend him to any one who ask or looks for a provider for there children's health. I am hoping to work with him for my children's health needs till they are adults.

While the complaint seemed minor, I appreciate Dr. Brenda not dismissing it as such. He asked all the questions I wanted him to ask and we agreed upon a course of action that was appropriate, in my opinion. The recommendations were practical and thoughtful.
