Mr. Wilhoite was born and raised in Richmond, Va. He joined the Air Force in 1983 and remained until 1992. He attended the Medical College of Georgia for his physician assistant studies. Following graduation, he joined the Navy and served in many parts of the world, including Virginia and Washington state, as well as Africa, Guatemala and Iraq. He retired from the Navy in 2007 and moved to Bellingham to join PeaceHealth. He works with all of the orthopedic surgeons in the group, treating patients in the clinic and the hospital.
