Biography
Robert Dubose, MD, is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon that specializes in diagnosing and treating complex coronary artery disease to improve blood flow to the heart, as well as aortic and mitral valve surgery. He also specializes in minimally invasive surgery to repair or replace the mitral valve.
He earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, followed by a residency in general surgery at the University of Washington and specialized fellowship training in thoracic surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. Dubose serves as an assistant professor of surgery in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery in the OHSU School of Medicine.
Away from work, Dr. Dubose enjoys photography, fly fishing, hunting, golfing and spending time with family.
