Dr. Robert W. Colbert, MD, is a highly qualified cardiologist who practices at PeaceHealth in Bellingham. Dr. Colbert received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minn. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., and his cardiovascular fellowship at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Wash. Before joining PeaceHealth, Dr. Colbert was a staff cardiologist in a group practice in St. Paul, Minn. He also spent ten years in cardiovascular research before becoming a physician. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Colbert enjoys travel, jogging, cycling, hiking, snowboarding, soccer and homebrewing. He enjoys getting outdoors as much as possible to enjoy all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
