Ryan Meyer MD

Ryan Meyer, MD, a Pacific Northwest native, is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine with an additional certification in musculoskeletal sonography. His areas of interest and focus include sports medicine, ultrasound, concussions, and injuries and disease affecting muscles, bones and joints. He earned his undergraduate in neuroscience from Pomona College in Claremont, California, followed by his Doctor of Medicine from Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. His residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation was completed at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Meyer also completed a Fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Geisinger Northeast in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. He has served as a team physician at all levels, from high school to professional sports. “I enjoy working with and empowering patients to help them reach their highest level of function after injury or illness,” shares Dr. Meyer. Away from work, Dr. Meyer enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, along with their golden retriever named Rainier. His interests include running, playing soccer and exploring new restaurants.
