He is a very kind and caring person he is very knowledgeable and knows just what he needs to to be the doctor he is
Comical in his explanation
I found it disconcerting that the same doctor who diagnosed my condition at an earlier visit did not remember doing so -- it felt to me like he was meeting me and learning of my condition for the very first time. He seemed unaware of the emergency room visit his after-hours advice nurse had ordered, and disinterested in my description of symptoms. He interrupted and talked over me often. He failed to explain the forms he asked me to sign.
Professional, listening, kindness
Very comfortable with him.
General surgery team is great, however, my pcp is not attentive to my overall health and well-being.
I highly recommend Dr Matous. As he was so kind and careful, definitely felt like he was treating me as family. I've never had surgery, and I'm a huge hypochondriac with insanely high anxiety and the day of my surgery was so calm, easy and smooth. I cannot thank all involved enough for taking of me.
Can't stress enough how amazing Dr. Matous was. Extremely personable and knowledgeable, would absolutely recommend him to my family.
