Sue has extensive experience working with communities after community-wide trauma like the pandemic or a widespread fire. Sue is team-focused and adept in working collaboratively with mental health, medical and community partners. Sue shared, “Behavioral health care can be stigmatizing, but all of us deserve to have the same support for our behavioral health as we do our physical health. When I was younger, I struggled with finding kind and helpful mental health support when I needed it. I joined this profession to be able to provide non-judgmental supportive care for my community.” Sue earned her Master of Social Work from University of Denver-Glenwood Springs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in history both from the University of Texas at Austin. When outside of the clinical setting, Sue enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading, roller skating and hanging out with her kids.
