Application Process: St. Joseph Medical Center

  • Submit completed "Association for Clinical Pastoral Education Application."
    Apply now
  • Email your completed ACPE application documentation to jpolter1@peacehealth.org and also mail a hard copy which includes a  $25 check for your nonrefundable application fee to :

  • Make check out to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center  (Memo: Application Fee)
  • Upon receiving your application, we may invite you to be interviewed by CPE Educator and/or admissions committee.
  • Upon acceptance, you will need to respond with your acceptance and a $50.00 deposit to guarantee placement in program.
  • Tuition rates:
    • $600 per unit
    • $700 per unit when Clinical Hours are completed at a different site.

We aim to contact you within two weeks of receiving your application. In general students need a High School Diploma/GED and are selected based on their willingness to learn, their ability to function as spiritual caregivers and their contribution to the diversity and richness of the peer group.
