Oncology at PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center
We offer local oncology care for patients living with cancer. This valuable clinic allows our patients to receive specialized care. This includes infusion and oncology in Ketchikan, with telehealth appointments in between.
Infusion services
Chemotherapy infusion delivers medication through the bloodstream to kill cancer cells within an affected area while also targeting cancer cells that may have spread to other parts of the body.
Not every patient requires chemotherapy treatment. Patients who do require chemotherapy treatment will meet with one of our board-certified medical oncologists. These doctors are experts in the use of chemotherapy. They determine which medications will be most effective in treating specific cancers.
Our Team
For this clinic, we partner with board-certified oncologists from PeaceHealth St. Joseph Cancer Center, who regularly travel to Ketchikan meet with our patients in person and who employ telehealth for follow up appointments.
