PeaceHealth Hospice provides a comfortable and dignified transition toward the end of life for patients with terminal illnesses. Using expert skills, our entire team works with patients and their loved ones to keep them comfortable and supported. Our specially trained care team serves patients wherever they live — in their own homes, assisted and senior living or skilled nursing facilities.

Bereavement support services

When people close to us die, we go through a processing of mourning. Grief is the visible sign of that mourning and includes a wide range of physical, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive experiences. Grief is vital in order to accept a deep loss and reinvest in life. Working through grief can be a painful process, but it makes all the difference for emotional and physical well-being. Grief support groups are beneficial to many people.

PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Hospice offers eight week support groups for any adult grieving the recent death of a loved one. Please call 458-205-7400 and ask for a Bereavement Coordinator to learn our current group schedule.

Courageous Kids – A grief support program for youth
