Urodynamic studies

Urodynamic studies are a group of tests that determines how the nervous system affects the filling and emptying of the bladder. The tests may be done for a person who has urine leakage or a weak stream when urinating.

There is no special preparation for most of these tests. But one test requires the person to avoid urinating for several hours before the test is done.
