PeaceHealth Medical Group plastic surgeon Allen Gabriel, MD, has been promoted to the position of Adjunct Professor in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. Dr. Gabriel is one of the nation’s youngest Adjunct Professors, having risen through four levels of academic promotion at Loma Linda within just ten years of completing his residency. Adjunct professors have the flexibility to instruct on a part-time basis while maintaining careers outside of academia, allowing Dr. Gabriel to continue his work in plastic and reconstructive surgery at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, WA.

Prior to being named Adjunct Professor, Dr. Gabriel served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Loma Linda. The Board of Trustees promoted Gabriel based on his professional achievements, many of which were noted in letters from respected colleagues:
