BELLINGHAM, Wash – A Same Day clinic is now open at the PeaceHealth Medical Group Cordata Main location at 4545 Cordata Parkway in Bellingham, offering patients a range of walk-in services for general illnesses and minor injuries. For added convenience, additional onsite services include laboratory testing through Quest Diagnostics, medical imaging services through Mt. Baker Imaging and ample parking.
The new Same Day Clinic treats patients with a variety of symptoms and relatively minor injuries including lacerations, cuts and abrasions; fractures and sprains; ear and/or sinus pain; skin infections and rashes; routine sports physicals, and more. Patients with symptoms that require a specialist will be referred to the department that can provide the best care for them. Patients with more serious or life-threatening conditions will be referred to the Emergency Department.
The clinic is staffed by Sarah E. Heggie, FNP, an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with significant experience in ambulatory and urgent care. “I look forward to welcoming our first patients and providing them with the safe, high-level care our communities have come to expect from PeaceHealth,” said Sarah. “I feel honored to do the work that I do. I love connecting with my patients and making a positive difference in their lives.”
The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the clinic located in Suite 1A on the main floor of the Cordata Main Clinic. No appointments are necessary – just walk in!
