PeaceHealth’s brand evolves to reflect focus on whole person wellness

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Spring is a time of new beginnings. It’s a rebirth for PeaceHealth’s brand as well, evolving to reflect strategic changes in the kind of organization PeaceHealth is becoming: Focused not just on healing the sick in our medical centers, but also on keeping the whole person well in our communities.
“Brand is one of our most powerful signals to help caregivers, new talent and especially our communities understand where we are headed,” said Eric Switzer, vice president of Marketing and Communications. “Though logo is the most visible characteristic of a strong brand, it has touchpoints throughout caregiver, consumer and patient journeys.”
Our new logo not only honors our history, but also helps us step towards our future – embodying our commitment to both peace and health.
This launch is just the start of a long journey of transformation: Not everything will change overnight. In the coming weeks and months, you’ll see the brand evolving in our communities.
“We’re humbled and honored to begin bringing this new brand identity to life and to tell PeaceHealth’s story to those we work with, and the communities we serve,” said Switzer.
About PeaceHealth: PeaceHealth, based in Vancouver, Wash., is a not-for-profit Catholic health system offering care to communities in Washington, Oregon and Alaska. PeaceHealth has approximately 16,000 caregivers, a group practice with more than 1,200 providers and 10 medical centers serving both urban and rural communities throughout the Northwest. In 1890, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace founded what has become PeaceHealth. The Sisters shared expertise and transferred wisdom from one medical center to another, always finding the best way to serve the unmet need for healthcare in their communities. Today, PeaceHealth is the legacy of the founding Sisters and continues with a spirit of respect, stewardship, collaboration and social justice in fulfilling its Mission.
