PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center and Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend receive top national honors

FLORENCE, Ore. – PeaceHealth is proud to announce that Peace Harbor Medical Center and PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend have received the highest rating possible—5 stars—from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
This rating puts PeaceHealth in the top 10 percent of hospitals in the United States. CMS 5-star ratings evaluate various measures of quality and safety, including patient experience, readmission rates, mortality and hospital-acquired infections.
“Achieving this ranking during the challenges of the last few years is phenomenal,” said Jason Hawkins, chief administrative officer at Peace Harbor Medical Center. It is a testament to the talent and determination of the caregivers at Peace Harbor, RiverBend and throughout the network.”
The 2023 overall star ratings for our PeaceHealth Oregon medical centers are available on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Hospital Compare website.
Peace Harbor Medical Center’s overall star rating is 5 stars, up from 4 stars.
Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend’s overall star rating is 5 stars, up from 3 stars.
Cottage Grove Community Medical Center and Sacred Heart Medical Center, University District did not meet the minimum data volume to receive a star rating.
