VANCOUVER, Wash. – Fitch Ratings has affirmed PeaceHealth’s credit rating at an A+ with a stable outlook, recognizing PeaceHealth’s prudent financial and operational management practices.
PeaceHealth’s executive vice president and chief financial and growth officer Darrin Montalvo expressed gratitude for the affirmation, stating, “We are pleased with Fitch Ratings’ recognition of our ongoing commitment to strong financial fundamentals.”
Fitch Ratings noted PeaceHealth made considerable operating improvements despite the labor and operating pressures affecting healthcare organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Noting PeaceHealth’s track record of success, Fitch Ratings validated PeaceHealth’s focus on reducing length of stay in the hospitals – getting patients the right care at the right time at the right location – reducing reliance on high-cost temporary labor and continued growth to meet the needs of their communities.
“We remain focused on delivering value and stimulating innovation and growth while upholding high standards for quality care and keeping the patient at the center of all we do,” said Montalvo.
