PeaceHealth Ketchikan welcomes new chief administrative officer

Ketchikan, Alaska – PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center has named Sarah Cook as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). She assumes this role on October 28.
Cook is an experienced leader with a proven track record at PeaceHealth and has a deep commitment to the region. She began her career in healthcare at PeaceHealth Ketchikan and has grown through the ranks of the organization, proving to be a strong and collaborative leader. Cook has demonstrated a keen understanding and appreciation for the critical role healthcare plays in a community like ours.
When seeking a new leader for Ketchikan Medical Center, it was important to find someone committed to Southeast Alaska and familiar with the challenges island-living presents as we strive to provide stability and continuity in leadership transitions.

As CAO, Cook will assume responsibility for the operational and financial performance of KMC. Cook will work closely with the hospital executive team to ensure the healthcare needs of the communities served by PeaceHealth Ketchikan are accurately identified and addressed through the services and care offered.
Cook holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in St. Louis, MO, and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in healthcare leadership from Boise State in Boise, ID.
