PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center's Transfer Center assists other hospitals in transferring patients to our facility. PeaceHealth St. Joseph is a Level I Cardiac Center and a Level II Stroke Center, capable of providing these patients with the highest standard of care. Our Transfer Center is a dedicated 24/7 resource to help coordinate the entire patient transfer process for urgent and non-urgent cardiac, or stroke admissions with a single phone call. This includes consultation with the accepting physician, arranging a patient bed, assisting with patient transport and coordinating special needs.
