Clinical Imaging - Image Transfer

Please note: Image Transfer is intended to replace CD Media. If a connection is unavailable or export jobs fail, studies must be sent on CD or via EMix until the connection is restored.

  • Downtime and Issues Notifications will be posted on the facility entry under Notes.
  • All Image Transfers must have a notification sent unless otherwise indicated by the notes for the facility. Notifications initiate reconciliations of the studies within the receiving facilities PACS. Failure to send notifications may cause end users to not be able to view studies that are sent.
  • Image transfers does NOT transfer results Results must still be transfered via fax or from the EMR.
