Biography
Jennifer Clark, MD, is interested in all areas of endocrinology with a particular focus on diabetes. Jennifer has research experience in diabetes, thyroid, weight management and shared decision making. She joined PeaceHealth in 2022 and practices at the specialty clinic in Bellingham. She earned her medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisc. and completed her fellowship in endocrinology at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minn. Before medical school, Jennifer wrote medical content for an online company. “Medicine is an intellectually challenging and rewarding career that provides the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of other people and a positive impact in my community,” says Jennifer. She particularly enjoys developing meaningful relationships with her patients and discovering together what treatments and management strategies might fit their lives best. Jennifer is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds professional memberships in the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Society and the Endocrine Society. A native of Seattle, Jennifer enjoys hiking, gardening and cooking, drawing and painting, playing piano, and caring for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

Dr. Clark is wonderful! She took ample time hearing my thoughts and questions, and explained in multiple ways why my concern was not an issue in my thyroid health. She is gracious, so kind and compassionate, and incredibly knowledgable. Also, she makes endocrinological concepts simple to understand so that my questions have answers I can comprehend.
