FLORENCE, Ore. – The City of Florence and PeaceHealth invite the Florence community to attend a third in a series of healthcare Town Halls. The public is encouraged to participate in this free event by attending one of two sessions: from 7 to 8 a.m. or noon to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the Florence Events Center. Mayor Joe Henry will facilitate.
During this month’s town hall, PeaceHealth leaders will:
- Provide a provider recruitment update
- Discuss recent initiatives focused on community benefit
- Host a Question and Answer segment
Community members are encouraged to submit questions before the event on the Facebook event page at facebook.com/peaceharbor or by emailing PublicAffairsPHOR@peachealth.org. Participants also are welcome to submit questions during the event.
“Since January 2016, we have succeeded in matching more than 6,000 community members with newly recruited primary care providers,” said Rick Yecny, chief administrative officer, Peace Harbor Medical Center. “Our hope is to continue demonstrating our commitment to serving our valued community members and meeting their healthcare needs.”
