Peace Harbor Welcomes New Community Health Board Member, Colin Morgan

FLORENCE, Ore. – PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center is pleased to welcome Colin Morgan as a new member of the hospital’s Community Health Board. Colin’s term became effective on Sept. 27, 2024.

With more than 17 years of experience, Colin has a strong commitment to community health and organizational development. He currently serves as the executive director of Florence Food Share, a nonprofit emergency food pantry that provides food free of charge. In this role, Colin leads a team of seven staff members and more than 75 volunteers to enhance community food access and resources. He also serves on the PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center Community Collaboration Committee.

PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center values its robust partnership with Florence Food Share, having supported the organization through multiple community benefit grants over the past five years and by sponsoring events like the annual “Pounding” food collection held in November.

The Community Health Board serves as a Catholic healthcare ministry dedicated to improving the health and well-being of people within its community - committing to upholding the Mission, Core Values and Catholic faith-based tradition of PeaceHealth at all local PeaceHealth operations.
